Description: Hyper-realistic orchestral performance, using huge orchestral resources. #1 on Mp3.com for several weeks. Approx. $60,000 worth of customized recording gear and computer programs were used and $40,000 of studio time. Took over 2 months working double-overtime, and broke two computers. Art had to acquire and design lots of new gear for this special production of over 40,000 notes: Higher speed MIDI data busses, faster computer processors, $4000 of memory, Flagship Film Industry E-IV samplers, special cabling and expansion boards...Over 100 MIDI channels of custom instrument parts. 64 Channels Plucked String sections are appropriately strummed, slide Trombones were played with note bends live, snare motif gradually builds, masterfully balanced, culminating in loud gong crashes at the end. Customized instruments not available anywhere were created to sound like their real counterparts.
