People laugh and call him names
but to him there only games

He's depending upon us all
you can here him as he crawls
will you be kind enough to let him in
we have to give love for him to win

As he lives his life impaired
as he goes on through so scared
smaller dreams of reaching high
how can there be,  comfort for you and me
when he struggles just to get by

So if a bird falls in the sand
that you once held in your hand
and the bird forgets how to fly
you'll know then too,  how the bird needs you
