Artist Description: digital syn began it's existence in late 1998...an idea to begin with, a reality still trying to take shape...... under the original guise of nomed's revenge, no one understood that nomed was simply demon spelled backwards.... several demos were recorded, but most of them were of poor quality cause they were made with poor equipment and programs... then after trying to oranize a concert, and actually working with people, digital syn became the official name.... a friend suggested it after asking what the main purpose of the band was.....sin was spelled syn because of an ex that was nicknamed as such, but no one knew that(well till it was just mentioned).... in september 2000, digital syn finally recorded it's first album, silent screams of desperation....although, other then it being available on this site till recently, and soon to be downloadable from mp3.com, no one has been able to hear it... it was trapped on a computer, with no way to get it off until just a few short months ago.....the songs that were recorded range from just vocal songs, to instrumentals, to industrial metal....and possibly more.....part of the vocals done on it where when i was sick, and therefore, it reflects in it....but i had to fight my wanting to be a perfectionist on it, because i decided when it was recorded, and when i started doing this, that i didn't want it to be "perfect".... after silent screams of desperation, which took about a month and a half to record all 17 tracks(totalling around an hour in length), i was unable to record anything for almost 2 years....then late 2001/early 2002, i was able to start recording some new material....a cd project entitled shadowed reality: the dream within the dream was started, but eventually scrapped... so, the material that was going to be used for that may be used on the next project, or not at all..... digital syn got it's online home, when a friend of mine told me that if i got enough stuff for a full website up, he'd let me host it on his server, so wanting to have a way for people to experience what i created for them, i instantly went to work on the original layout of digital syn's web home.....thus, the realm of digital syn was born.....in the first couple weeks, the counter on the site jumped from 0 to almost 100..i was awestruck, cause even though i was shamelessly promoting the site, i never imagined that many people would visit the site....and today the counter is now at almost 400....most people wouldn't think that as being much, but since there haven't been a lot of updates over the course of the past few months, then that means people are actually checking back to see..... i was in a conversation with someone about the music one day, and i told him i thought my music sucks(which i do), and he gave me a puzzling look...and asked me why i continued to do it.....i answered him: "i think my music sux because i know it's something i could've made better...." so now i'm in a point where i think my music sux, and others tend to like it....therefore, i continue doing it, because i have the urge to create, and the urge to create something that i might eventually like.....even if it takes awhile....for now this is where this bio shall end, and will update it more when i have some more free time...it's accurate for the time being..... a better band bio in the future i hope..this is recent, but not as good as it could be...
