Artist Description: Some have compared her to Anne Murray. Others have said she reminds them of Kathy Mattea or K.T. Oslin. She says Barbara Mandrell is her biggest influence. But one thing is certain, there's only one Tammy Clowers. The up-and-coming entertainer is establishing herself as a distinguishable young voice on the Canadian music scene. Like her predecessors, she walks the delicate line between traditional and mainstream, country and pop. She is the product of a small town upbringing with a rich, mid-range alto, and a passion for providing first-rate entertainment. The broad appeal of her proverbial "girl-next-door" image is noticeably her greatest asset. She has been equally well-received in seniors homes and schools, nightclubs and concert halls. Since the launch of www.tammyclowers.com, audiences world-wide have been able to discover her music. Fans from Europe and the United States as well as those at home in Canada have written to express their admiration and appreciation of her talent. Tammy recorded her first EP in the fall of 1999. That recording brought her to the attention of Blue Leaf Music. Together with producer Rick Mizzoni (Val Leroy/The Cruzeros), they have recently completed two brand new recordings, and are working towards the production of her first full-length album.
