Just completing his new album, Thinking of you... seven heartfelt compositions, comprising of fantasy, depth and darkness. Much different from his first, The Cotton Hill Session, Lawrences style and charm whisk you away to a time and place lost in love, wonder and virtue. Lawrence Spiegel grew up in Atlantic Beach, Long Island, in a household with no practicing musicians. His parents, however, admired and appreciated a variety of music from the German classicists to the Beatles. Lawrence's grandmother, recognizing his eagerness and fine ear, urged him to take piano lessons at an early age, which provided him with the foundation to become a versatile instrumentalist. Lawrence Spiegel will not describe himself as a virtuoso pianist. He is, however, an eloquently expressive one.
